HAPPY NEW YEAR BABES!
I have such a good feeling about 2018! I don’t know what it is but the positive energy I feel for this year is so strong. 2018 is MY YEAR.
With this positive energy comes motivation to make this my best year yet. I love that the new year is an opportunity to set new goals and while I don’t believe in “New year, new me” I do believe in “New year, better me.” These are my 2018 resolutions that I’ll be working toward all year to become the best version of myself I’ve ever known.
Share more on Insta stories and Snapchat. I’m the absolute worst when it comes to sharing what I’m doing daily on Instastories and Snapchat. I get caught between thinking what I’m doing isn’t interesting enough to post and not posting what I’m doing because I’m lazy. However, I really want to connect with you guys at a more personal level and realize in order to do so I need to share the REAL me. You can look forward to seeing more snaps of daily workouts, what I’m eating, OOTDS, products I’m currently using, and funny videos of Sonny this year.
Stay consistent with my blog posting schedule. Last year I set a blog post schedule for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This year I want to stick to those post days so you guys always know when to expect a post. However, if I’m not able to post on those exact days I don’t want to beat myself up about it. If I miss a post on MWF I’ll make it up later in the week so y’all still get the content.
Cut down the cussing. If we’re being real here, I have such a bad potty mouth. Swearing too much isn’t cute and looks unprofessional so my goal is to become more aware of what I say before I say it.
End negative self talk. I think every woman can admit to putting herself down when she’s not feeling her best. Bad days are normal, but I want to stop making negative self talk normal. If I wouldn’t say mean things to my friends why would it be okay to say it to myself?
Strengthen my faith. My relationship with God is everything to me. However it’s easy to get distracted by how fast life moves and take my eyes away from what’s important— serving God. This year I want to get back to talking to the Lord every day and strengthening my faith in Him.
Speak things into existence. 2017 was a year of planning, movement, and growth. I decided that 2018 is going to be the year I reach goals and achieve my dreams by speaking it into existence. This is the year I prove myself as a Hawaii blogger, take my health to the next level, and find happiness in ways I’ve never experienced before.
What are your New Year’s resolutions? I’m always looking for new ways to work toward a better me. Leave a comment below and let’s chat!
